Anach

Narrow pass in Northern Beleriand above the high springs of Mindeb, between the Crissaegrim and Ered Gorgoroth leading down from Taur-nu-Fuin (Dorthonion) at the western end of Ered Gorgoroth.

Between the time that Túrin left Doriath and the time that Beleg found him, the Orcs found a way through the Pass of Anach and made a road and raid Dimbar from Dorthonion.

You have seen the peaks of the Crissaegrim far off, and to the east the dark walls of the Gorgoroth. Anach lies between, above the high springs of Mindeb, a hard and dangerous road. The Silmarillion, Of Túrin Turambar

The Orcs who captured Túrin after his betrayal by Mîm were heading for this pass when Beleg, tracking them, found Túrin.
