Belfalas

Region on the southern coast of Gondor looking on to the aptly named Bay of Belfalas.

Belfalas was founded as a Haven by Elves, though its exact origins are disputed. According to one tale, it was established late in the First Age by Falathrim, fleeing the destruction of Brithombar and Eglarest. But other accounts suggest that Belfalas was in fact founded at the beginning of the SeA by Sindar of Doriath, who still begrudged the Noldor. tbc
