Finrod
Finrod Felagund. Oldest Son of Finarfin and Lord of Nargothrond, slain in the dungeons of Tol-in-Gauroth?.
Finrod befriended the dwarves and they helped him build the city of Nargohrond and the dwarves gave him the Nauglamír.
Finrod was also called the Friend of Man, for it was he that found them and taught them when the first crossed the BlueMountains. By the people of Bëor he was named Nóm, Wisdom. From this name came Nómin, the Wise, a name for the Noldor.
