Helms Deep

South-east of the WestfoldVale in Rohan. A green coomb, a great bay in the mountains of EredNimrais, out of which a gorge opened in the hills. A steep and narrow valley in the mountain. Just before the mouth of the deep is Helm'sGate.

In the Helm's Deep there are numerous caves, known as The Glittering Caves of Aglarond.
