Stream falling northwards from Dorthonion and flowing into Sirion in the Fen of Serech. At Rivil's Well (presumably the stream's source), Beren found the company of Orcs who had kiled Barahir and his companions. Behind Rivil Húrin, Huor, and the men of Dor-lómin made their last stand in the NirnaethArnoediad, allowing Turgon to escape.
