Angaino

The Oppressor.

The name of the chain that Aulë made with which the Valar were to bind Melkor. Made from six metals: copper, silver, tin, lead, iron, and gold. With his magic, Aulë made a seventh metal by taking a portion of each of the six mentioned. This metal had all the properties of the six, as well as many of its own, and was called tilkal. Tilkal was bright green or red in varying lights, and Aulë only could forge it.

Using all the seven metals, Aulë forged Angaino. It was so heavy that only Tulkas was able to carry it alone.
