Dagorlad

Dagorlad ‘Battle Plain', the place of the great battle north of Mordor between Sauron and the LastAlliance of Elves and Men at the end of the SecondAge.

Two other great battles were fought here in the Third Age, in 1899 and 1944, between Gondor and the Wainriders.
