Elenwë

Elenwë of the Vanyar. Wife of Turgon of Gondolin and mother of Idril Cerebrindal. Died during the Crossing of the Helcaraxë. Some sources say that Turgon was almost slain in an effort to save his wife from the grinding ice, and that it was because of her death that he had little love for Sons of Fëanor.
