Grishnákh

(ThA ?-3019) Orc from the Barad-dûr, captain of the Mordor-orcs that attacked the Fellowship at AmonHen. Grishnákh somehow knew of the Ring. Presuming that Merry or Pippin had it, he stole the two Hobbits away from the guard of Isengard Uruk-hai. He was slain by the Rohirrim led by Éomer, who surrounded the orc-camp. Nevertheless he had brought the two Hobbits far enough to allow them to escape the slaughter afterwards.
