Narsil
========= Introduction =
Quenya: Combination of the 2 stems anar...sun and isil...moon
The sword of Elendil, broken at Orodruin. Originally forged in the FirstAge by Telchar, a Dwarf, the most renowned smith from Nogrod.
Reforged after the Council of Elrond in the ThirdAge by the Elves of Rivendell, new name: Andúril, Flame of the West.
From the dream of Boromir:
- Seek for the sword that was broken:
- In Imladris it dwells;
- There shall be counsels taken
- Stronger than Morgul-spells.
- There shall be shown a token
- That Doom is near at hand,
- For Isildurs Bane shall waken,
- And the Halfling forth shall stand.

Very bright was that sword when it was made whole again; the light of the sun shone redly in it, and the light of the moon shone cold, and its edge was hard and keen.
