Nen Girith

'Shuddering Water', name given to Dimrost, the falls of Celebros in the Forest of Brethil. This name was given after Túrin Turambar and the men of Brethil found Níniel after she was placed under a spell by Glaurung.

On the next day they bore her towards EphelBrandir; but when they came to Dimrost, the Rainy Stair, where the tumbling stream of Celebros fell towards Teiglin, a great shuddering came upon her, wherefore afterwards that place was called NenGirith, the Shuddering Water.
