Well, I have not much to add to this description, except that it can be considered a "commentary" to his Middle-earth related works in many ways. It shares Tolkien's point of view upon many things that are subject to speculation or interpretation in the books. A "must-have" for every serious Tolkien scholar and anyone interested to learn more about Tolkien. -- ChW
