White Tree of Gondor

The descendants of Nimloth, growing in Gondor. Isildur had brought a fruit of Nimloth and planted it in MinasIthil. Sauron burned this tree when he captured MinasIthil, but Isildur took a seedling with him when he fled to Arnor and planted it in the citadel of MinasAnor after the overthrow of Sauron.

The tree died in ThA 2852 and since no sapling could be found it was left standing as a WitheredTree?. After the War of the Ring Aragorn and Gandalf found a sapling of the WhiteTree at the slopes of Mindolluin, which was then planted in the Citadel.
