Son of Náin and cousin to Thorin II. Dwarf, King of DurinsFolk, Lord of the Dwarves of the IronHills, King of the Kingdom under the Mountain.

As a young dwarve, killed Azog, leader of the Moria Orcs, in the Battle of Azanulbizar. Perished in the Battle of Dale during the War of the Ring.
