War of the Jewels

The war between the Noldor (and their allies) and Morgoth's forces fought in Beleriand in the FirstAge in order to regain the Silmarils from Morgoth. The War of the Jewels represents the major phase of the Wars of Beleriand, it began with the Dagor-nuin-Giliath and ended with Melkor's overthrow.
