Wereworms

A mysterious and ambiguous kind of monsters, maybe related to Dragons. It was believed that they lived in the LastDesert, the East of the East.

However these creatures might as well be legendary, existing only in the Hobbits' folklore, since they are mentioned only once, by Bilbo.
