Estel

At the age of 2 Aragorn became the Heir of Isildur, after the death of his father, and came to live in Rivendell. He was called Estel, which means Hope for he was considered the hope of the Dúnedain. His true name and lineage was hidden because Elrond knew that the Enemy was searching for any Heirs of Isildur.
