Eluréd, 'Heir of Elu (Thingol)', and Elurín, 'Remembrance of Elu'. They were seized by the servants of Celegorm and left to starve in the forest. Maedhros repented and sought after them, but was unable to find them. 'Of the fate of Eluréd and Elurín no tale tells.' However, according to the Silmarillion index, they perished in the attack on Doriath by the sons of Fëanor.
